Luke 1:35 — “That Holy Thing Which Shall Be Born of Thee”: The Text of the Virgin Conception

The principal received and critical Greek texts agree at the heart of Luke 1:35. The apparent phrase “of thee” belongs chiefly to English syntax and a secondary Greek expansion, not to a modern omission from the Textus Receptus.
