Editorial Responsibility

Confessional Bibliology is responsible for the material published under its name. A contributor page must not imply a staff, credential, office, or institutional endorsement that does not exist. Until an individual biography is approved for publication, the site identifies the responsible editorial function rather than inventing a personal profile.

Contributor Roles

The publication may identify contributors in the following roles:

• Responsible editor: bears final responsibility for publication, correction, and policy.
• Author: writes and approves a signed article or study.
• Research contributor: supplies transcriptions, bibliographic records, data, or documentary leads.
• Reviewer: evaluates a defined submission before publication.
• Translator or transcriber: prepares a text and documents the edition used.
• Media participant: appears in an audio, video, lecture, or transcript record.

A person should be named only with permission and only for work actually performed.

What a Contributor Record Should Contain

An approved record may include a display name, a concise biography, relevant ecclesiastical or academic affiliations, areas of contribution, links to the person's work on this site, and disclosures necessary to understand the work. Claims of degrees, offices, or institutional relationships should be verified.

Doctrinal and Editorial Agreement

Publication of a contribution does not necessarily imply that every contributor agrees with every conclusion on the site. Material published as the position of Confessional Bibliology must conform to its stated doctrinal basis and editorial policies. A primary source, interview, or opposing argument may be published for study when its status is unmistakable.

Review, Correction, and Conduct

Contributors are expected to represent sources accurately, distinguish fact from inference, disclose material conflicts, respect copyright and privacy, and cooperate in the correction of errors. Disagreement is not grounds for personal abuse. Serious allegations require documentation and editorial review.

Submissions and Research Leads

The site welcomes documented corrections, primary-source leads, reader questions, and proposed contributions. Acceptance is not guaranteed, and submission does not transfer rights except as expressly agreed. Use the Contact page and identify the proposed role, subject, sources, and publication status of the material.

Future Contributor Profiles

As signed work is approved, this page can be expanded with verified contributor cards and author archives. Empty biographies will not be created merely to make the publication appear larger than it is.
