Governing Principle

Confessional Bibliology is correctable. Scripture is infallible; the publication’s factual, historical, interpretive, and editorial judgments are not. Material errors should be acknowledged and corrected in the place where readers encountered them.

Publication Record

Each substantive page should display its original publication date, its last substantial revision date, and a concise revision note when the argument, evidence, or conclusion has materially changed. A superseded page should remain available when preserving the documentary record serves readers, but it should be labeled clearly and linked to the controlling revision.

Conspicuous Correction

Corrections should be proportionate to the original error and at least as visible as the claim being corrected. Silent correction is insufficient where a public charge, quotation, source attribution, or material conclusion was wrong.

Archival Continuity

The site should preserve a durable record of change: what was corrected, when it was corrected, why it was corrected, and which version now governs.
