Acts 2:1–4 — “All with One Accord in One Place”: The Full Opening of Pentecost
Scrivener’s ἅπαντες ὁμοθυμαδόν stresses the whole company and its one accord; SBLGNT and NA28 read πάντες ὁμοῦ, ‘all together.’ Related word-order changes occur in verses 3–4, yet every principal form records the sound, divided tongues, filling by the Holy Ghost, and other tongues.
