About Confessional Bibliology
Confessional Bibliology exists to proclaim, defend, and apply the doctrine of Scripture from a historic Reformed and confessional perspective.
ConfessionalBibliology.com was established by Chris Thomas in 2015. The domain was registered on August 14, 2015; the Confessional Bibliology Facebook group was created on December 15, 2015; and the project’s Twitter account was also established that year. An earlier Reformed Bibliology group served as a little-used precursor. ConfessionalBibliology.org is a later and independent publication. The two websites have separate leadership, editorial standards, doctrinal formulations, and responsibility for their respective content.

We hold with the historic Reformed confession:
Scripture Alone
The Holy Scripture is God-breathed, self-attesting, infallible, and the final rule of faith and practice.
Providentially Preserved
God has preserved His Word through all generations by singular care and providence.
Authentic Hebrew and Greek
The Hebrew and Greek Scriptures are authentical and the rule from which translations are made.
Final Authority
Textual methods and human reason are ministerial servants under Scripture, never magisterial judges above it.

About This Publication
Confessional Bibliology is a lay theological publication devoted to the doctrine, text, history, transmission, translation, and use of Holy Scripture under Scripture itself and the historic Reformed confessions.
