The God of the Bible has chosen to express himself by both oral and written means. Together these means represent the sum total of His revelation. This symposium is about the preservation of original, infallible truth as handed down through generations in the words and texts of the human language. We have both God’s perseverance and man’s stewarding responsibility at issue when considering the preservation of truth in the text and words of the human language. This symposium examines the implications of this for both sacred and secular writings.
